1 Chronicles 22 – Seek The Lord

“9 Now set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God.”

In my opinion that is the best line in the whole chapter… it’s good advice, it’s the way to live, always looking for Him because He Is always looking out for us.

How can I not have my mind on God right now… I’m reading about how the very first temple that the ark could be put in is being built….This building must’ve been an absolute showstopper with all of its worldly riches decorating the walls etc.. This is the temple that the elders were describing when they were crying about how a new temple is never going to be like the old one

Ezra 3:12 “But many of the older priests, Levites, and other leaders who had seen the first Temple wept aloud when they saw the new Temple’s foundation. The others, however, were shouting for joy”

….Of course this happens way after this one was destroyed ummmm I’m going to guess 500 years but I could be wrong because I’m not good with the chronological stuff without referencing a book so I’m gonna go do that now.

Have a great day and dont forget to minister today.

….. OK I learned that the second temple lasted 585 years and the first temple only lasted about 470 years before it was destroyed so I wasn’t too far off 🙂
