James 2 thoughts

How many times have you said “Oh, I’ll pray for you,” and then you don’t.. then that faith is dead or dying and then your just like the Christians James was dealing with in verse 15 mentioning faith without works is dead – sending people out on their way cold and hungry while you have an extra bill in your wallet or a meal to give. It’s all about how Jesus would want us to show love to one another…there’s a huge difference between knowing God and knowing about God.

Knowing and building this important relationship is a lifetime journey I’m learning. And it cause an growing pains… or labour pains… Galatians 4:19, NLT: “Oh, my dear children! I feel as if I’m going through labor pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives.”
