“consider your ways”
In other words take a look at your priorities, provisions and where your help comes from and think again where you should be focussing your building and growth. You people need to turn around your ways and stop focussing on yourself and your assets and anything more than what you need and put God back in the centre – everything must revolve around Him
Through the physical act of rebuilding the temple, the jews began to show an increase in their spiritual lives from self devotion to devotion towards God. Reminds me of the cornerstone scripture, and 1 Corinthians 3:10 “Because of God’s grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have”
The message from this chapter is “I am with you” thinking that’s enough to stir up anybodys emotions.. to hear Him say that Hes right there with you …start picking up bricks figuratively and spiritually buddy.
