The land assigned for the temple was in the middle or centre of the nation much as God is central for life being our first priority. Just as the priority of how visitors would come, pass through and leave out a different door. All this practice shows how the Mosiac laws showed that closeness to God was through works.
Interesting to learn that the temple was in the middle/centre of the land and connecting that to where God’s place should be in our lives-at the centre.
It’s my understanding that the sacrifice that is acceptable to God in both the Old and New Testament is our obedience. Works flow out of love and gratitude for our heavenly Father.
