Breath – thoughts from Ezekiel 37

From this chapter, I skipped all the bones and went for the breath. Something we all do and take for granted sometimes.

v5“I will cause BREATH to enter you, and you shall live.”

v6”… and put BREATH in you, and you shall live.”

Going back to Genesis 2:7 I reference

“Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the BREATH of life, and the man became a living being”

Acts 17:26 “He Himself gives to all people life and BREATH and all things;”

Job 33:4 “”The Spirit of God has made me, And the BREATH of the Almighty gives me life”

There are even more verses that show how God breathes life into everything from Day 1 up until the breath you just took reading this. He makes and gives life to everything and has been from the beginning of time. I like to think there’s not one square inch in this atomsphere that doesn’t have a trace of Gods breath in it!

People, wrap your head around this! We breath because God gives us that privilege. We must thank Him every morning for having sustained us through the night and allow us to wake for another fighting chance in this battle. We are soldiers of Christ each day as we get up and dress in our armour of God.

side note…

I am being intentional about STARTING to listening better and STOP teasing my kid so much… (im guilty, it’s fun sometimes) I’m going to add another thing. I’m going to be intentional about mentioning God to anyone whenever I can. I did today and it felt great!

  1. Life takes on a whole other dimension when God gives us the opportunity to share with someone. It’s such a thrill when God chooses to work through us.
