Since I have accepted Christ, I have begun noticing much more of the small amazing things:
The intricacies of an insects body
The glow of the city on a snowy winter night.
The feeling of a warm breeze in the spring time.
The morning sun rise as it pours through the dusty windows at my workplace.
The way my one year old son smiles at his daddy.
They way my three year old son always walks through the deepest snow for fun.
The way my five year old daughter tucks in all her stuffed toys before bed each night.
These little things can easily be washed away by the stresses, the worries, the distractions or general exhaustion of life. But if we keep our hearts open we can see Jesus’s promise of life isn’t just for the ressurection but can be found every day in the life we live now.
